I was just showing my Maps profile to a likely new Local Guide and noticed this sudden sharp upward forecast in all-time photo views 
+659M new really! Is this a real possibility or some horribly wrong forecast haha! Anyone else noticed this?

Iâm seeing a strange issue with my Google Maps contributions. My photo views, which were around 11 lakhs yesterday, are now showing âNo Viewsâ! Has anyone else experienced this?Does anyone knows why this had happened.

Yes very cool @aaryesdee. Have you checked your Maps profile to see if you you have also been so gifted?
If you like big numbers @AdamGT , count the views of your edits. As of yesterday I have 161,928,663 views of 2,593 edits. But you need to do the counting by yourself - Maps doesnât help at all except for showing the views for edits only on desktop .

the steep increase in the graph happened to many, if not all of us. Please see Flat for months but suddenly a sharp upward trend! .

@AdamGT I wasnât aware of that for a long time, until somebody mentioned it here on Connect: Only when you look at My Contributions â Edits on the desktop, you also see some showing views (in my screenshot the German word âAufrufeâ). You might have to scroll back a bit, to find the most recent. Analyzing all my edits, I found around half of them do show views with a total number much higher than my photo views.
Initially, I was believing, they appear only for certain types of edits, such as adding a place, but over time, I found views for all categories.
