Today I just searched for Meetups in Chennai and found one. So far only two registered the participation and just two days more to go.
If there are any options like getting a notification about the upcoming nearby meetups will help the Local guides more informed.
What are your suggestions on this?

Hello @JohnPeter , @PaulPavlinovich , @Shirley and @user_not_found have submitted great ideas on getting notifications for meet ups in the new Ideas Exchange board. You can vote their posts so it’s more likely to be done: click here to go to Paul’s idea, here to go to Shirley’s and here to go to Nkenna’s.
If you have any more ideas for new features you can submit them to that new board, if they are already created you can comment on them your opinion on why do you think it would be helpful.

Just now I have noticed a new feature “Follow” in meet-ups. Is that the one we all talking about? can someone explain this new future, just I subscribed to the same.

I think that button is only applicable for each board.
That is a feature which lets you follow a topic @JohnPeter - it adds the topic to your home screen. It would be cool if it did notifications but it doesn’t seem to.
@deepakjhic that is available for all topics, a note that boards are no longer used, posts are all in general discussion and are presented by topic which the user chooses.
