Hey all Local Guides and Googlers 
I recently went on a great mapping expedition to the area north of Stockholm in Sweden.
As a passionate contributor, my goal was to walk and map both historical sites and beautiful nature trails that might have been missing or needed updating on Google Maps.
You can see an overview of my walking routes and captured paths in the attached image.
Here is a brief summary of the places where my steps and camera took me:

Historic Sigtuna: I started my mapping in the west, in Sigtuna.
I walked and recorded the coastal paths by the lake and around the Sigtuna Museum. Sigtuna is considered Sweden’s oldest town, and it is crucial for tourists to have accurate routes when exploring the runestones and old streets here. -
Steninge Palace surroundings and nature: The densest blue network of my routes was created around Steninge slott (Steninge Palace) and the adjacent Steninge Slottsby community. I took special care to map the beautiful nature reserve Västerängsudds Naturreservat. Adding these hidden forest and coastal trails to the map is, in my opinion, exactly what helps people the most when planning weekend trips.

Märsta and Rosersberg: To make the maps practically useful, I connected some of the nature trails with the local infrastructure, for example, the path to the Märsta Norra train station. I also mapped a separate section a bit further south, leading from the town of Rosersberg (Rosersbergs Villastad) down towards the water.
My goal was to enrich the maps with high-quality user content that will make navigation easier for all future visitors to these beautiful Swedish locations and help them reach their destinations safely.
One amazing 360 photo at the end of the article… the sun was rising outside and it was -25 degrees Celsius outside… do you want to experience snow and real winter?
I hope you like my report and that it might inspire you to go out and map parks and trails in your own neighborhood.
