Bhootaradhane is a ritual that is traditionally followed in the coastal region of Karnataka, India :india: . This ritual involves the performers dressing up in elaborate costumes :performing_arts: and makeup , and invoking the spirits of ancestors and local deities  through dance, music :notes: , and chanting :musical_note: . It is believed that the spirits possess the performers during the ritual, and they convey messages :scroll: and blessings :star2: to the attendees. For those interested in learning more about this fascinating ritual, a quick Google search :mag: can provide rich information :keyboard: . Furthermore, there is a new movie titled “KANTARA” :movie_camera: that offers a glimpse into this ritual and its significance in the local culture :clapper: . However, it is important to note that mimicking the actions shown in the movie is not recommended :x: .
