Love it hear in the mountains. Has a cool climate and is a beautiful location to take pictures.

Thank you so much for your reply Klaudliya:) And thanks again for letting me know about introducing my self and showing me the the links. Appreciate this very much. These were taken from a Sony HS 100 in Ella, Sri Lanka in the hilly center of the island. The view through the gap between the two mountains all the way towards the southern coastline is an awesome site:) @KlaudiyaG

Ella is located in the hilly center of the island 1,041 metres above sea level. An awesome place to enjoy the great outdoors with many hiking trails, waterfalls and even caves to explore! The best time for hiking is in the morning or in the evening when it is cooler. Plenty of photo opportunities. Got some nice places to chill out enjoying a panoramic view while sipping a beer when it gets hot during the day time. Rawana ella is a popular waterfall where travelers go to have a dip in its cool waters or just enjoy the morning sun reading a book.

Thanks for your tips @KlaudiyaG !! Hope you’d be here someday soon! If looking to visiting Ella don’t forget to take the train journey from Kandy to Ella, one of the best train journey’s ever because of the awesome views. So get a window seat. The best time is to take the train from Kandy is early in the morning because that is the time to see the mist covered hills and the golden morning sunlight penetrating it to lighten up the mountains and valleys below. You’d love it!! If you need any help let me know!
