Virtually all of my Google Maps photos are from my phone…totally forgot about my Hassleblad lens drone and the beast that is the Nikon D850. Time to go back into the files and add the incredible photos this type of equipment takes to further people’s charm for Google Maps.
Great view of the nature, thank you for sharing your beautiful photo with us @Wolfcreek
Great photo @Wolfcreek . Like you virtually all my photos these days are taken on my phone. WHat exactly is a Hassleblad lens drone?
Dear @Wolfcreek
Really your photo look beautiful. I think your photo shooting experience is good
If you tell us more about this photo it will be more interesting to us.

Here you go Adam:) https://master.hasselblad.com/collaborations/dji-mavic-2-pro/
I feel the same as you do, @Wolfcreek - basically all of my photos are taken with my phone (Google Pixels since 2016), but I always forget about my drone as an opportunity for snapping great photos of places from interesting perspectives. I only have a DJI - I am familiar with Hassleblad and I can see the quality in your image above. Fantastic shot!
Fall in Michigan is my fav season @Wolfcreek your stunning photo tells all.
Photo below I took when I was in Presque Isle. Does the location look familiar to you?
I was wondering if this is the same light house?
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, this looks exactly like our 1870 Presque Isle lighthouse and the road leading to it.
Hassleblad has been around for a long time, and they bought 10% of a drone manufacturer - DJI - to have their lens and software technology get into the new wave of photography. The Mavic 2 Pro is the only drone that I found having this superior lens/software. Other drone owners have asked what kind of “gear” I was using as it appeared to be, in their opinion, better than their drone.
Thanks for asking!

Thank you, Kamal, for the great information!!! I did not realize this idea would take root, and will definitely add more details to future posts.
This particular photo was taken in Presque Isle, Michigan near the Lake Huron shoreline. This lighthouse celebrated its 150th anniversary last year!
Thanks for all of your support and info!

Thank you ever so much for your kind words!! We definitely have some great opportunities to take photography and Google Map contributions to “new heights”, LOL! Best of luck down the highway!
@Wolfcreek when you response to someone, please tag that person by using the @ sign (this will automatically bring some names you want to tag). For example mine is @Erna_LaBeau so that person will get a notification when you reply to them. BTW, hello from Downtown Detroit.
Thank you to @Erna_LaBeau for letting me know to use the @ symbol in front of a name when responding to someone. I had no idea that was needed and wonder now if anyone saw previous responses. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
You can edit your responses by clicking the three dots, add the name, and save it. That person will get a notification that you mentioned their names @Wolfcreek
@Erna_LaBeau , thank you for more good information for which I was not aware!
Appreciate all comments and help!
