The March school holidays just passed - and I managed to get tickets for Disney on Ice while it was showing last weekend.
It has been a long long long time since i last watched Disney on Ice - i remember my mum bringing me to watch it when i was a young kid in Singapore - and that was like decades ago.
So it was a nice touch to bring my son to watch it as well.
I am very amazed by the performance of the show - there were a few aerobatic acts by the Disney princesses - which i must say - Female POWER!
The 2nd half of the show was also an interesting recap of the most popular movie ever by Disney - FROZEN - ( there was a quick enactment of the plot and the song we all know as we sing with our kids - Let It Go.). This year, they included Moana, but i was slightly sad they did not include the ‘Shiny’ soundtrack. That is a really catchy tune if you did watch Moana.
Overall - it was really a good time - as my son really enjoyed himself - though i must say the Disney merchandise were CRAZY expensive. I saw a team flag selling for SGD 9 and it kinda reminded me of our 7th month aka Ghost Festival flags.
