Did not recieve Local guide Reward -Email (Level7)

Hi,

I’m a google local guide (Level 7), I see a lot of folks sharing posts about the goodies received from google maps…I haven’t received any mail regarding the rewards.

Kindly help me with this regard, and let me know what I need to be doing to obtain one.

There is no pattern, and there’s no fairness in who gets rewards. It is just a marketing gimmick.

My motivation is the joy of knowing that I’m helping a lot of people and businesses. Also, making new friends here on Connect can be considered a great peek. I find it very rewarding being a Local Guide.

Hang in there, keep up the good work, and maybe one day it’ll be your turn.

And finally, make sure Rewards is selected in your email settings found here. And update the location to show your current location.

I am a bit confused about your post, @lijintv07 , an on February 2022 you wrote in Connect about a reward that you wasn’t able to unlock.

As far as I know Google wrote back to everyone do resolve the issue. Wasn’t you?

Regarding “what I need to be doing to obtain one”, as you can read in the post shared with you by @MortenCopenhagenRewards are offered to Local Guides from time to time as a thank you for contributing great content on Google Maps”.

Honestly, I would not consider as Great Contents photos taken from the car where you only see the mirror of the car, nor selfies and redundant photos (all forbidden by the policies). So the first thing that you need to do is to review your contributions.

I received and email where Google told to redeem the reward. It was redeemed and I shared my address details so that it can posted/delivered. It’s been 3 months and have not received anything. Where did my gift Go .

There is no way to track the same.

How Can I get another or same reward to to be posted or delivered to my address along with tracking number so that I can followup.
