Cooking is an art best expressed in the hands of the artist: the cook

Oh i didn’t know Togo too had their own, I will read more about it thank you @Ewaade_3A

Can you imagine? haha you are closer to Ghana than you are to me here in the north. You need to visit and explore it someday. Make it worthwhile!

I look forward to exploring with you too. Lockdown is taking so much from our outside time.

Yes… the truth is that cooking is something that is an example of the peoples mentality and frame of mind.

You can tell a lot about people by the way they choose to cook.

Thank you for the great post.

Hi @Ewaade_3A ,

Indeed, it had given us a lot of time for bonding. Also, time to reflect on self and time to learn new things and grow as a person. But for now, we move!

Hi @Ewaade_3A,

Thanks for sharing this detailed post! I love cooking and I like every exotic food. I would gladly try all of them if the ingredients were available. :slightly_smiling_face: You got me curious with the “poroporo” blood tonic. Have you ever tried it? How does it taste?

Recently I have found a popular recipe from West Africa, I hope you find it interesting too: Nigeria Jellof Rice by @GiddyXp.

You love cooking and love exotic food?!

Great! Let’s do this!

How exotic would you go?

Someone has shared with me that there are some meals made with the finest of champagnes…

Have you tried it?

You would gladly try this food?

Ah! if you are not used to this level of ‘chilliness’, you may cry ‘beautiful tears’.

I am sure you should be able to get the ingredients from the African Market in your country of residence. If you manage to get it, then, I can share the recipe with you or you can look it up online.

Yes, I have seen Gideon’s post. Yes, you can not be a Nigerian and never have tasted Jollof Rice, I have a post on Jollof Rice too :joy: We love Jollof rice, especially ‘party Jollof’. The Party Jollof is cooked (oftentimes) over fossil fuel, so it flavors the food.

Poroporo; I haven’t tasted it, but I use it in preparing a herbal body scrub :grinning:

I have some with me here, I would have agreed to taste it for you, if you were here to cook some exotic dish , should my taste buds riot…

Hello @Ewaade_3A ,

Thanks for your reply! I like going as exotic as I can and I absolutely love super spicy food, sky is the limit. :slightly_smiling_face: I have tried a risotto made with champagne, very delicate and tasty, simple to prepare as well.

Please taste the poroporo for me, I will give you the recipe for champagne risotto. Deal? :slightly_smiling_face: In the meantime you can enjoy this nice post with a lot of Italian delicacies: Eat Italy - the Italian way of food - #TeamItaly.
