connect kosovo cities with kosovo country and add borders completely like an official country

Hello, the cities of Kosovo are not connected to the countries of Kosovo. This has a big Impact when we try to geolocate ourselves and when companies use GoogleMaps as maps. It is imperative to connect the cities of Kosovo with the country of Kosovo. Kosovo today is recognized by a majority of the countries of the world including the United States. Borders should also be added permanently. The INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE has declared that Kosovo’s declaration of independence is legal and does not violate any international law. https://www.icj-cij.org/case/141

In addition, government maps all show Kosovo with complete and official borders. I share with you some government maps like those of the USA, the White House and England.

As far as I understand you want to say that adding international border of Kosovo or demarcating urban and rural borders of Kosovo. So friend @U_L_E_T first thing is to demarcate international border that is the decision of the government and we add lost or new roads on the map here, still I am tagging our important experienced moderator to solve your problem

@MortenCopenhagen sir  pls help these LG

Welcome to Connect.

I will merge your two posts about the same issue.

Please seek help with this in the Maps support forum.

Hit the Community tab at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to official documentation supporting the change you are proposing. Copyright-free governmental maps are probably the best proof you can attach.

Without such official documentation, you will not be successful.

Please include Maps links to all the places you think needs to be changes, and specify precisely what the problem is for each of them. Maybe try with one issue first so you learn what documents are sufficient.

Cheers

I see now that you posted this in the Roadmapper section. As this is not related to roadmapper I will suggest @DeniGu to kindly move this thread to the How-to section.

Hi @U_L_E_T ,

You can now find your post in the How-tos section on Connect. That’s the best place to ask questions and share feedback in the community. Learn more about Connect topics here.

As @MortenCopenhagen said, the appropriate way to share such Maps data suggestions is by starting a post on the Google Maps Community page or sending feedback directly in Google Maps. Thanks for your understanding.

Let me add one more thing. Convincing Google Maps to change or move national borders or status is very difficult.

It is more likely to see changes after your government contacts Google.

You are correct that Kosovo is not shown with the usual dotted red border. But the places you listed from a simple search do exist in Kosovo.

Hello, thank you for your answers. I contacted Google Maps in the services you recommended to me but I only got a response without any sense. I answered the person we will see. Is there no way to contact Google Maps directly by email etc?

Here is the link to my post, I even put links for government maps as advised by you. https://support.google.com/maps/thread/289734270?hl=en

Hi again, @U_L_E_T

I told you this is not easy stuff

No, there are no better ways to address this than you already tried. Google does not provide any email support to users if the free product Google Maps.

Don’t ruin your day by being absorbed into this. The fact that only 100 nations have recognized Kosovo is also a sign that quite a few nations do not. Google Maps will not take sides in such disputes.

That is how it is. Sorry.
