Chai pe Charcha at historic Qila Rai Pithora

Qila Rai Pithora marks the site of Delhi’s first fortified city, built by Prithviraj Chauhan (also known as Rai Pithora) in the 12th century, expanding upon the earlier Lal Kot fort. I will be sharing a post on this historic location soon

We had recently gathered there for a Delhi Map Masters Meet Up meet up hosted by @Ssiddharth2000

Before the meetup started we had an energy boosting Chai pe charcha session at the small but nicely maintained cafeteria on the premises.

This Chai pe Charcha is an initiative by @TusharSuradkar as is the Map masters Meet up series. The occasion for the meetup was The “Piprahwa Gems Exhibition,” also called “The Light & The Lotus: Relics of the Awakened One”, a significant display of Buddha relics and jewels recently repatriated to India.

I will be sharing a post on this wonderful exhibition soon.

We were joined in this Charcha by @Ssiddharth2000 @ShreyaMusings @Nomad_Enkay @SonamW @vishal_bbt and @Hemendu

@curatorofmemory chai pe charcha has become a Norm for Delhi Meet-Up, it adds value to a Meet Up.

It often generates meaningful conversation over a cup of Tea. Thanks for the chai :hot_beverage:
