This year, the Grand Canyon National Park is celebrating 100 years since it was designated a national park in the United States.
The Grand Canyon National Park is located in Arizona and was created by the Colorado River when it cut through layers of rock millions of years ago. With a length of 277 miles, depth of one mile, and width of 18 miles in some areas, it’s a spectacular natural wonder to visit. Every year, more than 5 million people come to view the breathtaking views of the park and capture its beautiful sweeping views and colored layers of rock with their cameras.
Here are some amazing photos Local Guides like you have taken that celebrate the Grand Canyon’s 100th birthday and its splendor.
