Celebrating National Burger Day with unique burgers from around the world

Today is National Burger Day in the United States. But a quick search on Connect will show you that Local Guides from all parts of the world enjoy this goodness on a bun. Yes, we are fans, too.

To celebrate, we rounded up some unique burgers that Local Guides have shared on Google Maps and Connect. From sweet-and-savory combinations to “magical” ingredients, you may just find your next favorite burger on the list!

And here’s a challenge for you: Have you tried a more unusual burger than the ones below? It can be with seafood, meat, vegetarian, vegan, anything. Even if not, we’d love to see your favorite burger contribution on Google Maps in the comments!

Hi @AngieYC

It’s great to know about the National Burger day in United States. I am also a Burger fan. The photos are super delicious and its interesting to read about the different varieties of Burgers around the world. Below is one of the photos of Burgers which I shared in Google Maps. Interesting thing is the photo was taken one year ago and added to Google Maps and it’s still the highlighted photo of that place, Inshi Cafe.

Thank you for this post.

Wow !!! @AngieYC

A nice burger party started here already. Hope am not late. Thank you for this beautiful foodie post. It’s been a busy day otherwise I could have sent in my own photo of a decent Burger.

Nice seeing this. Hope it tastes as good as it looks. Count me in on the burger challenge as always. West Africa is not a burger place but I’ll get one just for the crack.

Cheers

Well I’ll be burgered :joy:

Did I hear you say it’sNational Burger Day in the United States @AngieYC ?

Well I have to admit that my family back home are right into burgers and they come in all shapes and sizes (the burgers that is lol)…and I’m sure that my Americano friends here will confirm this!

But I myself prefer the more simple burgers. Like these mouth watering with smoked salmon burgers with cream cheese and chive, Mini baps with roast beef, horseradish cream and rocket, Rye Vienna with ricotta, basil pesto, grilled aubergine, red capsicum…and more :grinning:

Or these Thai salmon burgers sliders:

Hello @AngieYC

As promised, this is my own share of the burge party. Although it’s coming late but anyway that’s is. It was a basic simple chicken burger. Not expensive but delicious. I enjoyed it for lunch today.

It was gotten from a fast food restaurant not even a burger place. Happy National burger day to all.

Cheers

One of my favorite burgers is from In-N-Out burgers (https://goo.gl/maps/KyzTpFzvDnc7VCtP7 )

And we in Malaysia had a burger day meetup sometime before Covid

Wow, that’s so yummy @AngieYC … and to be honest I never tried such unique burgers like the ones in the photos!!!

Well my burgers are normally always standard, perhaps because I generally prefer pizza over burgers haha, anyway for the National Burger Day let me share my home made burger, it is still in its own way unique  .

Happy National Burger Day!

Hi @AngieYC !

I am not a lover of mixed tastes (I could never ever eat a pizza with pineapple for example!) so I always go classic!
I join with all the LocalGuides friends in this feast of hamburgers!

Bon Appetit!

Adding the Double Donut Burger from a few years ago in a Hungry Horse pub in the UK. Instead of buns, there is a donut on each side. The whole thing was dripping with syrup and grease, and tasted amazing. And only 2000 calories!

Sadly not available any more, maybe for the best.
