CAPE TOWN // RESTAURANTS

Hey everyone!

I’m a local Cape Townian & I work with a lot of restaurants & cafe’s.
I make quick video’s for them, mainly for social media.
I’ve started this thread so I can share all these awesome places with you!

Let’s start with a delicious breakfast at Giulio’s Cafe located on Loop Street, CBD.
This bright and buzzing cafe is run by Giulio (an awesome guy, super friendly).
Him and his team specialise in unique and delicious dishes.

Hi @StuParker Welcome to Local Guides Connect, it would be nice before adding the contribution that you read these rules. Don’t share personal information on the forums, check out the private messaging option instead.

I recommend reading this post for tips and best practices when using Connect.

Hey @StuParker ,

Thanks for sharing this. The croissant looks delicious. It would be great if you continue recommending restaurants, but please bear in mind that it shouldn’t be with commercial intent. Local Guides Connect is for individuals only and promotional activities of any kind are not allowed.

As @IlankovanT suggested, we care deeply about everyone’s privacy and sharing private information such as phone numbers and emails is not encouraged. That is why I removed your email from the message.

Please take some time to read our Local Guides program rules and Local Guides community policy.

Thanks,

If you’re looking for another breakfast spot, head over to Bree Street & take a seat at Jason’s Bakery.
It’s really popular so make sure you get there early if you want the delicious baked goods!

If you have a sweet tooth and are looking for a place with great coffee and cake, check out The Velvet Cake Co.

If the cupcakes didn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, I’m sure Jessy’s Waffles will!
They specialise in Vegan & Gluten Free waffles, both sweet and savoury.
If you’re not Vegan, they do have the standard options available.
They recently opened so make sure to give her a visit & support this local entrepreneur!

I am 100% sure @MarinSt and @KlaudiyaG will enjoy this topic a lot.

Thank you,

Hi Tahira,

I’m not sure if they are all Halal, best would be to visit their website or give them a call.
All their details are in the description of the YouTube video’s.

Thanks for watching!

Solo Restaurant can be found on the popular Bree Street, CBD.
Tucked away in a courtyard setting with exposed brick, it is really an awesome and modern eatery.
