Business has 22 listings??

So here’s my issue, this company “able appliance repair” in Kansas city area has 22 GMB listings for a 25 mile service are. 21 of them are fake, they have ONE real listing which is this one https://www.google.com/maps?cid=17597536668582696630.

This is hurting all of our appliance repair businesses in Kansas City area… many business owners have reported this company for breaking rules on google my business to get way ahead of competitors. We need action and we need it soon this is just insane we are all hurting for calls from customers while this business “able appliance repair” thrives by breaking rules. They have MANY MANY fake reviews that are clearly not real… A ton of their reviews review all of the GMB’s for able appliance repair which ultimately helps them. I have a ton of proof in the picture i have posted. This will include all links, fake GMB

reviews to their GMB, they’re using GMB locations at employee homes with addresses listed on their GMB. Someone pretty please fix this insanity so us legit businesses can thrive too! They are using duplicate phone numbers and also soliciting reviews to help their business as well as using the same website address.

When I see this (it also happened to me today) I usually just move all the fake ones to the real place. This get approved straight away. If not try removing them as spam.

The best thing we as users can do in such situations, is what @MortenCopenhagen mentioned. To report fake listings as spam, or to move and merge additional ones with POI in real address.

But also since these are GMB listings it is even better to describe issue in GMB forum to check deeper and prevent from future spams, too.

And note that because this thread is a problem report, suitable board for it is “How to”. So it is good to change it.

In my experience the merge is done automatically when we move a duplicate to an address where the business already exists.

@MortenCopenhagen Yes, it happens some times but not for all cases and our edits can make the merge process faster.
