Usually, we plan a day in advance if we need to go out for breakfast. There’s nothing like starting a day with a delicious South Indian breakfast! On that date, accompanied by my wife, we decided to visit Kalpakavruksha Veg Restaurant. After consulting their menu card, we decided on two simple yet satisfying favourites — the crispy Rava Dosa and the soft, comforting Plain Dosa. Paired with coconut chutney and sambar, this breakfast was a perfect blend of taste and tradition.
We spent some time talking and enjoying the food; we ended our session with two cups of hot coffee - of course, it was really an excellent session. When we go out, we try to have different varieties of dishes/food.
Kalpakavruksha Veg Restaurant is not a flashy place, but it is a very decent family joint that is also very hygienic. Food is of good quality and quantity, at a reasonable price. It is only 3 Km from our home.
Simply mouth watering stuffs in the photo. The quality of photo is as original as Crispy Rava Dosa and Soft Plain Dosa.
I am sure you must have gone for South Indian Filter Coffee @TravellerG. That’s my favourite too and whenever I go to South Indian restaurant, I always go for it.
As a Photographer, I respect your compliments and thank you for the same, my dear @Kumaarsantosh
Multi-angle lighting was excellent and the hence the photos were captured well… thank you very much for your kind feedback.
Sure, typical South Indian filter coffee is a must after such breakfasts.
Best wishes…

Yes, yes… dear @curatorofmemory … Vidyarthibhavan is another excellent place through I am not a fan…of course, it’s very far off from my home…too.
Thank you for your kind compliments
Regards
Actually those pics are as uniq as those dishes they show..
Sorry to interact like this .. however I’m curious how these plats are enjoying? ..is the same way as Chinese if we follow those reasonment as Indiana are not too far from Chinese!? Or is there another way to deal with them…
I can imagine my way through how delicious those dishes reflect…
Thanks .
Most of us use our right hand to ‘Tear’ the Dosa (with fingers - it is easy, once you see/feedback lt) and mix with the ‘Chutny’ by dipping in it the same is placed in our mouth to chew it and eat it…
I have tried my best to explain it - however, if you a bit more time, then search in YouTube, you can actually see it.
Of course, there are a few tourists who prefer to eat with fork and spoon…well, we enjoy with our hand.
Thoses looks a classic and comforting combo to me … A perfect way to start a day … Thanks for sharing the amazing and delicious looking food with us @TravellerG
Respected @TravellerG Sir, thank you for participating in this breakfast challenge. Both the Rava Dosa and Plain dosa looks so tempting. Paired with chutney and sambar and finished off with piping hot filter coffee is the most satisfying breakfast. The amazing pictures and the post are much appreciated.
That sounds like a wonderful breakfast experience @TravellerG Sir.
Rava Dosa and Plain Dosa paired with chutney and sambar are such classic favorites. It’s great to hear about a cozy, hygienic local spot like Kalpakavruksha that serves quality food at reasonable prices.
