Hands down favourite gourmet patisserie/cafe in the capital. Canberra doesn’t get a lot of love from fellow Australians - we tend to be seen as staid, boring and bland (we’re the governmental centre as well). After over 10 years living here, I can say it couldn’t be further from the truth. I keep finding brilliant cafes and restaurants all over town. This cafe, Space Kitchen does amazing cakes and desserts. Even more amazingly - they do gluten free as well as nut free desserts!
Hi @Istillwannahavefun ,
Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us. The purple cupcake looks amazing. How does it taste like? I wish, I had the ability to 3D print it.
The quality of your photos is really good. What camera do you use?

We tried the Peach Melba (orange ball cake) and the Opera cake (chocolate layers) as they were both gluten free. Truly delicious cakes!
I actually use my google pixel phone, and it takes some pretty great photos when you want great shots, but you don’t want to carry your DSLR camera.
Thank you for the links!
Hi @Istillwannahavefun ,
You are right, it is not practical to always carrry your DSLR camera with you. Either way, I am glad that you were able to capture such nice photos with your phone. Another link that you may find useful is: 6 tips to make even better photos with your phone.
