Tai Mo Shan (大帽山) is the highest mountain (957 meters) in Hong Kong. From here, we can enjoy a 360 view of Hong Kong. You can see country side from one angle, then urban area from the other side. In fine weather, the view can reach beyond 40km, which is Dapeng Peninsula ( 大鵬半島) in China as you can see in the far end in the photo.
On the summit of Tai Mo Shan, there is several stations for weather monitoring and aviation navigation.
In the front is the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) Radar Station, with Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) Weather Radar Station at the back.
