Happy New Year 2026 to you too, @doc_dells!
Your comment truly made my day - this is exactly the kind of thoughtful, grounded response that gives real meaning to #BagTheChange
I absolutely love how you connected the same real-life reality across geographies. Whether itās India or Indonesia, those unplanned grocery runs and quick warung stops are where sustainability is truly tested
Thank you for beautifully highlighting Indonesiaās ecosystem - learning about SNI Ekolabel (Ramah Lingkungan), cassava bags (Kantong Singkong), and innovations like TELOBAG / AVANI is incredibly inspiring. The fact that these bags are home-compostable and even dissolve in hot water without harming the environment is a true point of prideš±
Your āOrganic Discoveryā method resonates deeply with the spirit of this challenge - focusing on meaningful, real-life finds rather than volume. Capturing logo/stamp proof and adding one impactful sentence to regular reviews is exactly how everyday contributions turn into a powerful movement
Iām genuinely eagerly waiting for your entries to the #BagTheChange challenge - your approach will add immense value. It makes me truly happy to see this initiative inspiring Local Guides beyond boundaries, showing that sustainability is a shared global responsibility
Based on such thoughtful global participation, Iāve also updated the challenge criteria ā moving from CPCB-specific references to recognized environmental certifications relevant to each country, like SNI Ekolabel in Indonesia. This keeps the challenge inclusive, practical, and truly global
Thank you for being such an inspiring voice for Local Guides for a Greener World.
From India
to Indonesia - letās keep #BagTheChange alive, one bag, one review, one conscious choice at a time

You truly stand out as a remarkable ambassador of sustainable practices. As I previously mentioned and elaborated here, sustainability is not merely a hashtag or a topic for discussion - it is a shared responsibility that calls for consistent, conscious action. What makes your contribution especially meaningful is the way you embody this belief, not just in words, but through deliberate and impactful efforts.
Your commitment to sustainability is evident in every step you take, and it is truly commendable. Your previous challenge on Sustainability titled Take the Challenge: Ditch Plastic Spoons at Restaurants! was a great success.
The #BagtheChange challenge you introduced to the community now is a powerful initiative that goes beyond awareness, it actively builds momentum toward adopting sustainable alternatives. By encouraging both users and merchants to rethink their everyday practices, you are fostering a culture of responsibility and environmental stewardship that can create long-lasting, positive change for our planet.
Thank you for being an integral part of this movement and for continuously inspiring the community through your actions, values, and unwavering dedication. Your thoughtful action sets a strong example for the community, reminding that meaningful change begins with individual choices. Please continue to lead with purpose and passion, motivating the community move toward a more sustainable and environmentally conscious way of living.
