Autumn Collages

It’s autumn right now in Australia, and because we live in an alpine region the leaves are changing into beautiful colours.

The leaves changing always happens so quickly, so I like to get out and take photos of them. This year I decided to collect some to make collages.

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Autumn is now in full swing in Australia, and with Canberra being in the alpine region we have very beautiful and showy autumn scenes.

Gum trees (eucalyptus) don’t always come to mind when you think of autumn as they are not deciduous, however the beautiful leaves when held up to light look like stunning autumn coloured lead lights.

I hope you enjoy the photos from my walk around my neighbourhood.

Hi @AlexaAC given one of my posts is about isolation activities (eg, making collages out of found objects like leaves) and the other post is regarding the autumn sights in my city, can they please be unmerged? I see they are both autumn ‘themed’ but they are not the same topic. Thank you.

Hi @Istillwannahavefun

Gumleaves make great photo subjects and is one of my faves. I’ve learned something here–Gazanias, never knew their name. I love these flowers…they make me smile at their bold colours and a sense of brazenness. I see them in the streets where I live. Thanks!

Thanks @janina1 ! We have a heap of gazanias here too. They spread seed in the wind and it’s floated and self seeded everywhere. It makes for such stunning displays. The bees love them too.
