@AngieYC I think saya akan ask really good question because local guide updated information on Google map and help to improve Google services So that people use more and more maps and Google benefits. Despite this, the local guide is not getting any benefit.

I don’t know more about Google local guide. However, I try to contribute all times. Everything is so easy to contributing. It’s very interesting for me. Now, I take more photos where I go. The Local Guides program is a voluntary program and is all about helping each other with our contributions. There are some rewards, given from time to time as a ‘‘thank you’’ from Google for your quality contributions, however, there isn’t a promised reward for participating or reaching a certain level. There isn’t payment involved as well. You can read more about it in this article. I also recommend that you check this discussion where you will find some of the reasons for being a Local Guide.

To maximize your chances of being eligible for a future reward opportunity, continue to add high quality contributions to Google Maps and make sure to update your email preferences.

Google makes a lot of money information we collect abd provide. With 36 million views of my photos I am still paying like an idiot $160 a year to host the photos to Google. I hate this company and their greed.they pay to everyone, but not us. Look how much you tubers making. They don’t give a shit about us. If you don’t believe it, visit our perks section and see there are none.

yes, I agree very much even if the shopping vouchers on Google shop would not be bad.
