Does anyone knows what is happening with
Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and all reviews done? I am getting strange contradictory message as follows…

As the system says, it seems someone removed the main POI from the map very recently. So, you see POI in the list to add reviews, but reviews can’t be added. I think Googlers will recover the main POI soon.
But what the app is telling you is new to me. I never saw this before. Maybe since the removal was exactly when you write the review. Maybe it is only visible on iOS.
By the way, now only the additional point is visible on the map, and people are reviewing it at such a high rate! 9 reviews only in half an hour.
This is the result of the availability of the review button on the app. What is not available in Iran and made it difficult to review places. It will be really good if Google can help in this case @MashaPS so we can also see reviewing button on the app.

The message that you are getting, @I-am-Q , is telling you that the listing has been removed from Maps, so that all the attached photos and reviews are no longer available.
This is part of the new way to inform the users in EU, @Amiran , and it will hopefully extended also to the rest of the world.
As I can see a listing in Maps, @I-am-Q (https://maps.app.goo.gl/FqPePrfw3kA7Dc9w6) the issue can mainly due to two reasons:
- Someone removed the duplicate as not existing. In this case all the reviews will disappear, and the photos will show as related to an Unknown location.
- Someone flagged the place as duplicate. In this case the two places will be merged. On a temporary step the reviews and the photos will be disconnected from the location, to reappear in the merged listing in a week
If the team, as @MashaPS said, is already aware of the issue, they will perform the merge even if the location has been deleted, so that everything will be back in a few days

It seems something more than the availability of a review button is going to happen here!
As I see now the reviews on that additional POI mentioned also by @ErmesT is reached 40 and many people discussed the removal of negative reviews!
As my experience in similar cases, this airport has been expressed as bad service on a social platform like Instagram, Youtube, or Facebook! Someone may even requested from users to write negative reviews.
So, someone totally removed the airport from the map. Maybe one who likes it to prevent showing negative reviews, or one who doesn’t like the airport to even don’t exist on the map to guide people!
Since such wrong activities are against the rules, Google will check the case deeper and take serious action. For example, removing all reviews seems to be written as the conflict of interest in a certain period. I think because of this @MashaPS said Google is aware of the situation.

You are notified about the hidden review and the type of violation, and you can appeal with just two clicks.

The place has been restored / merged and we are now back to the “normal” situation.
An hidden review is something that you know how to manage. Just need to appeal
I have the same issue as the topic starter. Can I try to repost this review now? I already wrote this review years ago and that time it was all approved!

I wish it was that easy @ErmesT , when I click on details I get the message that the place is removed. It is not the same as the random filter case one get the option to appeal.
I thought you saying that if they merged similar place, then my review would have been restored, right? Or did I misunderstood your first post?

Probably you will have to wait a bit for the place to be fully restored.
The synchronisation of the servers need time, so I would try in 24 hours to see if the two contradictory messages will become aligned.
If not, I’m sure @MashaPS will report this strange issue to the team
