Am I allowed to post a 650-word article?

Am I allowed to post about a 650-word article on my trip to Casablanca with photos here or on the travel section? Does this go with on Goggle Maps

  1. Write a clear and attention-grabbing title. The title is the first thing people will read about your post. Be specific and descriptive so that others will want to click and learn more.
  2. Make it relevant. Be sure that what you are posting is relevant to Local Guides and the topic in which you’re posting.
  3. Tell us about it. Add a description to your post telling us what makes it relevant and interesting. Adding context to your experiences make them more real and exciting.

Hi @Erwin88 ,

Thank you for reaching out. About your question, the answer is yes, you can write your post about your trip to Casablanca in the Travel section, as it fits better there. In the Travel board you can share about your city, your latest trips, favorite travel destinations, how you organized your trip, tips you used etc.

I suggest checking out What are Connect topics?.

Please note that I moved your comment to How-tos as a new post, since it is not related to the post you commented it. When you have a question, you can start a new post or search if there is something similar to what you are asking already on Connect.

Hi @Erwin88

the limit of the editor is 20.000 characters (space included).

My personal suggestion is to check the series written by @AdrianLunsong about how to write a post:

How to write a great post - Basic Tips

How to write a great post - Intermediate Tips

How to write a great post - Advanced Tips

The challenge of a long post is to make it readable, with a correct balance of text and photos, so I believe the mentioned tips may help you

Hi @Erwin88 ,

You also wrote: Does this go with on Goggle Maps. If your question is whether your article and pictures will also be shown on Google Maps after you post your article and pictures here on Connect, then the answer is no.

You are welcome to also post your best pictures on Google Maps on the relevant places.

Cheers

@Erwin88 you’ve got a LOT of great answers on this article, but I wanted to follow along to make sure I don’t miss your next post! I can’t wait to see it.
