Allow me to introduce myself

Hello,

Remember as you read this some stories must start out bad to end up happy.

My name is Chris Ellis, I am a former Police Officer. I suffered an on duty injury in which I broke my back in 2009. I required 5 back surgeries and countless months of rehabilitation to recover physically. Unfortunately I also suffered from the weight of the trauma and was diagnosis with PTSD. In 2015 I retired from Policing and dedicated my life to improving my self.

This is when I discovered the healing power of travel. I found that travelling pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a person and showed me that I could overcome the challenges of having PTSD. Travelling has given me strength and confidence within myself and to date I have been all over North America, Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I have also been sharing this journey on social media and impacting others that share PTSD.

I have been dedicated to updating my Google account every step of the way. I find it very important posting photos and writing reviews for people to see. There is so much anxiety in the world today and I know a good review and a few photos can help people prepare for the unknown.

I am excited to continue to share my journey every step of the way!

Thanks for reading and happy travels

Chris
