Dear Local Guide friends,
I am thrilled to share my joy with all of you as I reached a new milestone in my road editing journey—adding 20,000 new roads to Google Maps! I achieved this milestone on 27th November 2024.

Reaching this milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of the TRAC, an initiative started by dear Captain @SholaIB. TRACK encouragement and support are instrumental in my success. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each member of the team.

The Impact of Our Contributions;
Many people rely on Google Maps to reach their destinations, and the roads we add can assist in someone’s journey. Every road we add helps someone, somewhere, navigate their way more easily.
Adding these roads has not only been fulfilling but has also improved my points on Google Maps—a big motivation for me to keep contributing. With over 20 million roads still waiting to be added, there is so much potential for all of us to make a big impact.

To all the new Local Guides, I have a suggestion: start contributing to Google Maps! All the guidance you need is readily available in the form of topics on Connect. Also, please consider joining the upcoming TRAC event, which will be announced shortly on Connect.
