15,000+ Roads Added to Google Maps.

Today, I am excited to share an achievement with my dear LG friends; I have added 15,224 Roads to Google Maps as of June 30, 2024. Adding roads requires considerable effort and time, and one must overcome 50 percent rejections and long approval time.

Here are some tips I follow:

  • I prefer to work on a desktop to get a better view.
  • Use maximum zoom-in mode.
  • Draw roads that are very clear. If in doubt, avoid drawing.
  • Be sure about rivers or roads before drawing.
  • Ensure to connect my road to an existing white road.
  • Avoid complex roads.
  • Avoid connecting to existing orange roads.
  • Ensure my road leads to a destination or another road.
  • Be prepared to face 50% rejections and long approval time.

Congratulations to you. Adding roads is getting the publicity I always wanted among local guides and even on connect. Just like writing good review and adding a good quality photo to Google maps.

It is great to see that, day by day, we are literally covering Google Maps with thousands and thousands of new roads, making easier for millions of people to reach their destination.

A lot of those roads should have your name in Maps, so for the users to say "Thank you Prasad :pray: ".
