Today we are going to talk about Jotana Kumar Primary School (Primary School Jotana) (also wrote the review) where a teacher teaches children, teaches them ayurveda, skills or arts. And a lot more about the school. It is a 5 minutes walking distance from Jotana Bus Stand and near to Jotana Railway Station or Sub-Post Office, Jotana.
About Primary School, Jotana
This is a government school where education is imparted till class 8. This school was built in 1868. This school is near Jotna Post Office. There are many buildings here, some are old and some are new. Since I went there on Sunday, I could not get complete information, but here studies are conducted from computer classes to medical science.
The school has a government building which has 10 well-maintained classrooms dedicated to teaching activities. It also includes 2 additional rooms built separately for non-teaching purposes. A designated office is available for the Principal and teachers. The school is completely surrounded by a strong paved boundary wall and benefits from electricity connection. For drinking water, the school relies on a functional tap water system. There are 8 toilets for boys, all of which are in working condition, but there is currently no facility for girls.
Additionally, the school has a playground and a library with approximately 590 books to aid the students in their studies. Accessibility is adequate for children with disabilities, as there is no need for ramps to enter the classrooms. For educational purposes, the school has 8 functional computers available for both teachers and students.
Accessible Entrance
You will start seeing accessibility features right from the main entrance of the school. There is a boundary wall as well as a road around the school, so wheelchair accessibility will not be a problem.
Accessible New Classroom & Old Classroom
As I have already mentioned, this school has two types of buildings, one new and one old. And the best thing is that both the classroom buildings are wheelchair accessible.
Accessible Offices
I am seeing the salary office in school for the first time, maybe I could be wrong. But I do not know why this office is here, because if salary has to be given then it gets credited in everyone’s online account at present. If you know about it then write your opinion in the comments. However, this is wheelchair accessible, so disabled people do not face any problem.
Medical Garden
This Aushadhi Vigyan (Pharmacology) was also taught in schools and colleges here in Bihar but this is the first time that I have seen this Aushadhi Garden, although I have seen it in my Primary School, Merahi. This is an excellent initiative.
Accessible Toilets
There are many toilets in this school but I saw a wheelchair accessible ramp toilet in front of the entrance, so I captured it.
Accessible Parking Area
This is a higher primary school where education is imparted till 8th standard, and there is no shortage of land here, the school is very big, you can park your car anywhere in a discipline.
