Hi @mstfa Sudan is an embargo country for some types of technology and this is possibly why your functionality is reduced. In addition not all features are available in all countries in the world because of local laws, customs or lack of information.
As I see, you already had some of your questions answered by @deepakjhic . I hope you found the solutions helpful.
If you have further issues or new features you would like to see implemented on Google Maps, I suggest you post an Idea in the Idea Exchange section here on Connect.
Remember to only feature one idea per post, and please describe it as thoroughly as possible.
Generally embargos come about because of something the government of a country is doing - perhaps it is human rights, perhaps its a significant violation of international law. When this happens the UN or the larger countries or blocs of countries (e.g. the EU) might impose sanctions. So what can you do as a local person @mstfa ? If it is safe to do so, speak out, be a voice for change - eventually life changes and embargos would be lifted.
Information is power, Local Guides help to reduce the boundaries between cultures and countries by sharing information and experiences.
I wish I had a simple answer for you but I don’t think there are simple answers to such complex problems.
