On the occasion of International Women’s Day, I wanted to celebrate the spirit of women entrepreneurship by supporting a women-owned local business in my city.
I visited H&M Beauty Parlourfor beauty services, a salon owned and managed by a dedicated woman entrepreneur. It was inspiring to see how she has built her own space where customers feel comfortable and well cared for.
The service was warm and professional, and it felt great to support a business run by a passionate woman. While leaving, I wished them Happy Women’s Day, and the smile on their faces made the moment even more special. That small gesture reminded me how meaningful appreciation can be.
As Local Guides, we often explore new places, but supporting small and women-led businesses can make our contributions even more meaningful. By sharing reviews, photos, and experiences on Google Maps, we help these businesses reach more people.
What I did:
Uploaded high-quality storefront photo and interior photos which will help others to know more about salon.
Shared the information on how to claim & enable women-led attribute on the business profile to the owner.
Wrote a detailed review and shared my experience.
Supporting women-led businesses is a small but meaningful way to celebrate the strength, determination, and creativity of women in our communities.
