A Family Day at Underwater World Aquarium, Pattaya

Hello everyone,

Our trip to Underwater World Aquarium in Pattaya began from the JA Plus Hotel on a warm, sunny Sunday. We booked a taxi conveniently through the Bolt app, and after a short ride, we arrived at the aquarium’s entrance.

Tickets were reasonably priced at 500 Baht for adults and 300 Baht for children. The staff at the entrance were friendly and helpful, making the entry process smooth.

As we stepped inside, we were greeted by the cool, dim interior of the aquarium—a welcome break from the heat outside. The highlight of the experience is the long tunnel that winds through a massive underwater tank. Walking through it felt like being inside the ocean itself, with colorful fish, graceful rays, and even some impressive sharks swimming overhead and alongside us.

Our two daughters Ivana and Iyana were absolutely thrilled. Their eyes lit up at the sight of the vibrant marine life. However, little Ivana got a bit scared when one of the larger fish swam close—her reaction made for a memorable family moment! One of the most fascinating parts was watching a diver descend into the tank and feed the fish—it was both educational and exciting.

The entire visit took us around 45 minutes, which felt just right—not too long to tire the kids, but enough to fully enjoy the exhibits. Before leaving, we stopped by the gift shop and picked up a few souvenirs to remember the day.

Overall, Underwater World is a great spot for families with young children. It’s compact, clean, and offers a unique way to explore marine life without getting wet. Highly recommended if you’re in Pattaya with kids or simply want a relaxing and visually stunning indoor activity.
