I’m honestly excited to share this one because it turned out way better than expected. It’s for the dog-friendly places on Google Maps challenge by @DeniGu, but more than that, it was just a nice little discovery – Vihan Dog Resort 
in Gandhinagar.
So here’s the story. Last week, my friend had to travel abroad and was stressed about what to do with his dog. Obviously, we went to Google Maps and started searching. That’s when we stumbled on Vihan Dog Resort, and it honestly surprised us in the best way.
When we reached, the first thing that hit us was how clean and open the place felt. You could tell straight away this wasn’t the usual “drop your dog and leave” kind of centre. It gave a more holiday feel, as if the dogs would actually enjoy staying there rather than just being kept. 
A few things that stood out while we were looking around:
Hostel – Spacious rooms, tidy, and you could see the dogs actually looking relaxed instead of restless.
Swimming Pool – Yep, a pool for dogs! I love watching them splash around, which was easily the highlight.
👨⚕ Doctor on site – Knowing there’s a doctor available is a huge relief for any pet owner.
Caretakers – The staff gave off a genuine “we care” vibe, like they really enjoyed being around the dogs.
What sealed it for us was watching my friend’s dog dive into the pool and then settle in without any fuss. That kind of reaction says more than anything else.
I think finding spots like this on Google Maps is what makes sharing reviews worth it. It helps other pet parents who might be stressing over the same thing. Even small details like photos or tips can make someone’s life easier when they’re trying to find the right place for their pet.
All in all, Vihan Dog Resort turned out to be a gem, and we walked away feeling relieved and happy that such a place exists in Gandhinagar.
