Bandipur is located only at 4:30 hour car ride from Bengaluru. As people can go there and come back in a day , this place is usually crowded for the safari. If you really want to have a feel of the nature and the tranquallity that comes along with that you should try and stay overnight. There are multiple resorts available near by or within the forest. I stayed in the “Windflower tusker trails” for one night. The resort is under the canopy of trees. Here are some pictures taken during this journey.
This was my first road trip to this part of Karnataka State but surely not the last one.
We spend so much time in the hustle of the big cities and chose of traffic , pollution and what not. This day trip really works as a refresher for me. In the lap of the nature and early morning sounds of birds, long empty roads to run(i am a long distance runner so i saw empty roads i want to run ? .
