A Beacon on the Highway: My Nanded #NightStarChallenge Discovery

Hello fellow Local Guides,

I’m thrilled to share my official entry for the #NightStarChallenge, featuring a true gem I discovered on the highways outside Nanded – a place that truly shines when others dim!

The main roads of our nation are alive long after the cities go to sleep. For the countless travelers and truckers on these lonely routes, finding a safe and welcoming place for a meal isn’t just a convenience, it’s a necessity. While driving on the Nanded-Basmat road, a bright, welcoming sign cut through the darkness, promising comfort.

My discovery for this challenge is HOTEL JAGDAMB PURE VEG RESTAURANT & LODGING. Pulling off the highway, the first thing I noticed was the ample and well-lit parking area. Seeing other vehicles parked securely immediately gives you a sense of safety and tells you this is a popular stop.

The entrance to the restaurant itself was clean, modern, and very inviting. In the quiet of the night, a warm and welcoming entrance like this is a wonderful sight for any weary traveler.

Of course, the real reward was the food. The menu is pure vegetarian, and the thali I ordered was absolutely fantastic – hot, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. It was the perfect meal to refuel for the journey ahead, featuring paneer, dal, kofta, and soft rotis.

My experience confirms that Hotel Jagdamb is a vital service, offering a safe harbor and wholesome meals to the people who travel through the night. Highlighting places like this is what the #NightStarChallenge is all about!

Apart from our Jawans on the border and doctors in the hospitals, these hotels are lifesavers for common people, such as truck drivers, who also work relentlessly. :saluting_face:

Same as my experience, I agree with you calling it a safe harbor, on lonely roads, a place that welcomes you warmly like this place is a lifesaver.
Found fresh food quality late at night after a long night drive must feel like a reward.
