I have voted for all three, and my order
- Photo C of post#3
- Photo B of post#2
- Photo A of post#1
I like Photo-C here. The sky over the shop looks silver. We can easily see the ALDI sign. The pattern on the wall behind it is bright. There are no shadows from cars in front. It’s a close-up shot. The natural light and the lights inside look good. But how many people see it might depend on where it is on Google Maps.

@TerryPG @PrasadVR I understand how you feel about Photo C. I’ve sometimes cropped off the sides of photos while zooming in closer to make important details more visible. The store sign is clearest in that photo, and a bit bigger than in Photo A. But I still voted for Photo B as stated earlier in this thread.

The finishing order would be:
- B with most overall information
- C With most details visible
- A

I posted this in the post 4 thread, but posting back here shrug sigh. Lol. I am indeed the dumbest person in the room. Ok ok.
The order is A, then B, then C. I have explained my reasoning throughout my other posts. I believe in the sign theory, also in sharpness.

Ok so I reviewed my previous votes and have decided that the order is
1 Photo A
2 Photo C
3 Photo B
I have not based my votes on anything more “scientific” than that is the order that they appeal to me in

In order to wrap this up, I’m working through everything and while I know that many will have already answered in the discussion their guess at the finishing order of the 3 photos in Poll #3, it would help me if you also indicated your decision in the second poll that I just added to the cover post in this thread. Do so carefully as your decision in that poll will override any previous decision that you might have made in the discussion.

I changed my mind over and over but personally I like to look at night photos to see how sketchy an area is, so the daytime ones won’t work for me. That could just be my thing though so I voted on the angled one at night to see what’s lurking in corners lol. love this poll!!

According to the analyses conducted on the three questions, it would seem that a daytime image is in any case preferable to one taken at night, and that between two night images the least appealing is the frontal one, and in this order I expressed my vote:
- C
- B
- A

I myself try very hard not to edit my photos but I can understand why you sometimes would @tony_b. Interestingly on this very point, I’ve only just read that @Yaryman runs EVERY photo through Photoshop before uploading onto Maps (see comment here).

It seems you weren’t the only one confused with the place to indicate your photo finishing order @StevenBerlin and I apologise for the confusion. Since realizing this, to make things easier and clearer you can now add your finishing order choice here.
