Visit Fátima between May 11 and May 14, 2017

Traffic conditioning on May 12 and 13 in Fátima:

The celebrations of the Centenary of the Apparitions require a traffic conditioning on May 12 and 13 to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors to Fátima, as well as the safety of His Holiness Pope Francisco.
In this context, the Municipality of Ourém informs that the interior of the Cova de Iria is interrupted to traffic from 9 am on May 12 until 6:00 pm on May 13.
However, it will be possible to get around Avenida Beato Nuno and Av. João XXIII.
There are some exceptions, namely:
- On May 12, until 11:00 a.m., it is possible to circulate hotel customers who show their reservations to the GNR military.
- On May 13, from 04:00 am to 07:00 am, supplies will be authorized, duly accredited by the Municipality of Ourém, namely companies in the following areas of activity: bakery / pastry, urgent medicines and multibanco supply.
- From 09h00 on May 12th until 6:00 pm on May 13th, residents will be allowed to circulate, with conditioned mobility duly typified under the terms of the Law, and for this purpose they must be accredited to the Municipality of Ourém.

Re: 22 Hours with Pope Francisco on Visit to Fatima Portugal

Hi @JoãoMiGodReis

Thanks for sharing. I just merged your posts together as they are related to the same topic. As it looks like you are new in the forum, why don't you explore the many sections of the site and check out the conversations happening among our Local Guides? For example, this section of the site has some good tips on how to use the community and interact with your fellow Local Guides.

Tips for getting started:

Search the community before posting as others may have asked your question (and received an answer) already.
- Use a descriptive title for your post to make it easier for people to know whether they should open it.
- Share a story with your photo(s) - tell your fellow Local Guides something about the location's history, why you like it,  a few details on what is in the pictures, etc.
- Use the Location field to geotag your post to a specific place, but make sure its important to the content of the post.
- Don't share personal information on the forums, check out the private messaging option instead.

This area has helpful information about the Local Guides program in case you have more questions. Don't forget to introduce yourself to the other Local Guides on our  April 2017 introduction thread, too, if still you haven't done it yet, and feel free to ask if you need any help or tips.

Many thanks and have fun with Local Guides!
