Parc Monceau, a green oasis close to Champs-Elysées in Paris, France

The avenue des Champs-Elysées is a must see when you visit Paris, but with 300000 people touring every day it may be crowded. If you need a break from the crowd, I would advice you to visit Parc Monceau .

 

A ten minutes walk (about 1km or 0.6 miles) from the Arc de triomphe, also 1km or .6 miles from Franklin Delano Roosevelt Metro station, Parc Monceau is a place worth the detour if you are visiting the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
