One of the best views I have had in India. The place is called Zostel. Here's my review of the place.

It is in Udaipur, the city of Lakes. It presents a beautiful view of the lake and the forts.
Next time you're in India do check this out.

I always love when I have to stay in a hotel in my home place, Crete, so this is one of the best views I ever had:

...not exactly a hotel room, rather a vacation home in La Fortuna, Costa Rica.

Took from my hotel room when I was on a trip in Israel.
This is a view of the dead see ^^

@TraciC this is a great post - I love seeing views from hotels around the world! My favorite views from hotels in the US were NYC hotels like the rooftop views from Ink48 - and a recent view from the porch of Hotel Ella in Austin Texas. The views from hotels in Florida are awesome - love West Palm Beach and Del Ray - and of course Miami South Beach - blue water is inspiring.

I had a great view at the Double Tree by Hilton in Down Town Boston. It is close to China Town and a lot of great restaurants!

I don't get to travel as much as I use to. My last trip was last May to the Hawaiian Island of Kauai to visit family.
When traveling to Kauai, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy in Kapaa is my family's first choice to stay. We like to stay at this "no taller than a coconut tree" condo resort on the Kauai's eastside because it's centrally located, close to Lihue, but far away from the mega resorts in Poipu on the westside and from Princeville to the north.
This condo resort is low-key, quiet, never crowded with people. There are no elevators.
This was the view around 9 am from my 2nd-floor condo's lanai (Hawaiian word for "balcony") during our last stay. All you will hear is the birds. They are everywhere, hidden in all these trees. And the sounds of the gentle sounds of the ocean waves crashing onto the beach.
Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy is close to Old Kapaa. Also another reason to stop in Kapaa, the best shave ice in Kauai (and IMHO in all of Hawaii) is called Ono Ono Shave Ice, next to Ono Family Restaurant, is one of Kauai's best gems (Sorry, had to add food porn!).
Cheers,
Karen
