Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet (340 metres), making it as the highest waterfall in India. The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Nohkalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season in December - February. Below the falls there has formed a plunge pool with unusual green colored water.

In Transcarpathia on the river Pylypets there is a unique attraction — amazing waterfall Shypit, which translates as a whisper. If you listen to the sound of falling water, you can hear unusual rustling, that is the same mysterious whisper that gave its name to the waterfall. Other waterfalls of Transcarpathia usually emit a loud rumbling sound, but Shypit is different. Its water goes down on the stone ledges and creates the cascade. The total height of the waterfall is 14 meters.

Wow @ValerieCoretnic I'm pretty curious about this whisper sound!
And I'm happy you all are contributing to this topic! I will create a map soon!!!

@LucioV@IlankovanT@deepakjhic @ShafiulB @WalterSander Nice waterfalls! I really liked your photos. Thanks for sharing!
In Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine, there is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Carpathians called Probiy. The waterfall is located near the tourist centre of Yaremcha, next to one of the local souvenir markets and a restaurant, built without a single nail. The Probiy waterfall is 8 meters high and it is unique monument of hydrology.
Above the waterfall is a footbridge where you can be photographed on the background of rocks and waterfall. In the spring the river is full-flowing, that's why your photos taken here are so nice and picturesque.
