Hi, I am Daniel Goltz from Israel. I am a software engineer and today is my 26th birthday!
For my birthday, I thought I could share with all of you the very best of my photos as a Local Guide. I'd love to get your feedback on my photos - how to improve them and to be able to share better content on Google Maps. I am a Local Guide expert photographer (on my way to becoming a master), I love taking pictures wherever I go.
As you might be able to see, I am a frequent traveler, I believe that vacations are the reason I work hard every day. I post many pictures during my vacations and use the pictures and tips posted by other Local Guides around the world.

congratulations on your photo tour and your professional position,
I joined the LG from the end of the year 2017 around October or November, I immediately fell in love with the reviews surpassing the 2700 reviews, the 1600 changes and over 1600 new places added in addition to road corrections, place names and reports of activities or relocated pointers or non-existent and reporting to request the obfuscation of faces or particularly critical places.
Now I'm almost at level 10, to date at level 9 I have just over 90000 points, and only that I have changed the way I review. I have seen videos on You Tube on LGs all over the world and I learned the importance of a review not only in terms of words, but also accompanied by images and videos.
I have been photographing since 1976, being 51 years old, I'm from 1966, I started photographing since the age of 10, I've always photographed, I have lots of albums at home, photos from digital times and then several GB of images from my travels in as many USB sticks, then the arrival of the smartphone and other photos and videos, I have a passion for the railways, on You Tube I have a channel dedicated to trains that I make videos when I travel by train. And then this passion for SV with my tour without itinerary for the world collecting SV to share with you.
The advice I can give you is to make every review the best possible mile with pictures and videos, if possible. Minimum description 200 characters. And then to make your images that you have attached in your thread with links open.
today I'll take a tour of these places you've published.

Thank you for this detailed response. I Enjoyed reading your insights and tips.
It is sometimes hard to make every review over 200 characters - I'll do my best to add more images and videos to the reviews I post.
Thanks again!

I could not tag you in the link of the port that I posted in my thread dedicated to the ports of the world, I tried several times to type your name DanielG but did not come out the symbol with your logo and photos, the 200-character reviews correspond to 'about 4 lines of description, to support the 200 characters you can make descriptions that then anticipate the questions that will make you Google.
Example for a restaurant you can describe if the rooms are spacious or not,
if the environment is beautiful or mediocre,
if there are toilets and if they are clean,
if table service is fast or not,
if the service staff understand the staff is competent, professional, helpful, courteous, friendly ...
if the quality of the foods offered is wide or not, describe the quality, give a rating on the dishes, and drink, and then the price if it is online or not with the quality of the food offered ...
and then if there's parking outside,
if they admit the animals,
and with these descriptions abundantly exceeding 200 characters, you get more points and who reads you, the future client, will find a detailed review that will not go unnoticed.
if you want to see my port thread where I could not tag you is:
