Had been to Indian Museum in Kolkata. It's an enthralling place to be part of thousands of years old Indian History, millions of years old fossils, gigantic skeletons of mammals, old sculptures, coins, relics every bits of yesteryears. Mummy, paintings, zoological and botanics collection will leave you speechless. You will fail to feel how few hours have passed and you still are unearthing the amazing world you did not know. Go and enjoy. It's closed on Monday.

Yes . That's a treasure trove !!

But I feel lack proper guide and explanation , make the joy little less .

    Moreover I repent for the great loss of the invaluable head of Lord budha of the kaniska eral !!

   The museum is simply unparallelled !!

  we  cndn boast of such great "contribution " of the British rule .
