Did you say 'Aluva'

 

There is a s Sri Lankan sweet called Aluva made of rice four , coconut or kithul ( palm ) honey. I will take a photo when I go to local sweetmeat shop or go through my archive soon

it can be cooked at home but very few can get the real flavour. Therefore  most of us prefer to buy it from specialised  restaurants or take away.

Aluva is not real name it is just a local saying  it came from the word Halva.
