Hello,
I'm thinking about investing in a Ntech iris 360 camera. Does anyone have one and what are your thoughts and reviews on them. I would be using it to create 360 tour for busniesses.
Thanks in advance.

I had hands on and used for an agency.
My opinion: does'nt worth the price.
The time you save in shooting and stitching is not so relevant.
For the same price you could buy a DSLR APS-C with a fisheye and pano head, obtaining results not comparable to the files produced by the IRIS.
Also, not to mention the HUGE nadir hole you'll have to shoot separately (the feature they promised to fill the nadir with a on-the-fly shoot made with a smartphone was never released) to correct.
The contrast handling is also a problem.
Anyway, was the only ALL IN ONE camera approved for SV program until Theta S and other players enter the market, so many people bought (and many reselled); you can easily find one used.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know any website where they are selling second hand ones?

Will try to find the original postings about.
Anyway, at SV|T summit Iris representatives presented a new camera, like matterport, that could be a better choice, IrisVR, so i think could be better to wait this new move.

Thank you.
Okay maybe I will wait to see what this new camera is like then.
Thanks for your advice.
