Report a missing road on Google Maps

You can add places, suggest edits on existing listings, and report problems on roads — but what if a road doesn’t exist? We’ve heard your feedback that you’d like the ability to report missing roads on Google Maps — as of today, this feature is now available on Google Maps for desktop and Android*.

No one knows your community better than you do. If you spot a missing road, place a pin where the missing road should be and make sure to include any additional information that will help us verify the road exists. We’ll investigate your report and add the road to the map once it is confirmed.

To report a missing road on desktop

• Open Google Maps
• Click Send Feedback in the lower right corner
• Select Report a Missing Road
• Place the pin where the missing road should appear
• Add the name of the road and any additional information

To report a missing road on Android

• Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Maps app
• Go to the location where the missing road should appear
• Open the Menu and tap Send Feedback
• Select Report a Missing Road
• Tap the location of the missing road
• Add the name of the road and any additional information

*This feature is not yet available on iOS.

How to report a missing road on desktop:

• Open Google Maps

I don't have "Report Missing Road" feature.

This functionality is useless. I have sent multiple requests and none of them have been added, though you can clearly see the roads in the satellite view. If anyone form google is reading this please respond. This is not working since years.

@gelodj  there are a few countries where the feature to add a missing road is not available yet. In which country are you trying to add a missing road?

I suggest already few missing road name and correction of few.

i still don't know why google make it so complex to make road !! and my town satellite imagery is still from 2004 ! now is 2021 ... they must do a solution for users and make it easy for editors ...

also moving a shop that is on the wrong place on the map, my edit not approved

I am in a region that doesn't support editing maps, however there is a road on Google maps that doesn't exist and it results in wrong directions that could add up to 15 minutes to a trip. How can I report it?
