I have long been a Google Maps contributor, using map maker to add missing trails to Google Maps.  But then, in the spring, map maker closed.  I was no longer able to add map data, just photos and reviews. Luckily, I discovered OpenStreetMap.org, which allows users to make edits. I can add details such as sidewalks, buildings, and tree cover.  I now add reviews and photos, (180 photos actually), to Google  Maps, and map data to OpenStreetMap.org
