Hello Everyone, those who are eagerly waiting for recap of our recently ended CAN info-Tech2018 Meet-up.It’s my responsible to express my heartfelt sorry for delay. I sincerely apologize for having been late. Actually I was quite busy finishing my week long meet-up, which made me little bit unhealthy. But right now , I am completely fine.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for your contribution towards CAN Info-Tech 2018 Meet-up to make this event memorable and grand Success. Without your valuable presence and contribution, it would not have been successful. I am really very grateful to all of the members of Mid Nepal Local Guides and non members of our community , those who helped us in our Meet-up by contributing in different segment.
Our Meet-up would not have been the same without your presence on that day. That’s why ,words cannot express all that I wish to say to all friends from Nepal local guides(Along with other three communities), after what they did for me. I am so overwhelmed and speechless that, all I can manage to say right this minute is, thank you, thank you and thank you.
The Mega Event CAN Info-Tech 2018 inaugurated by Minister for Information and Communication Mr. Mohan Bahadur Basnet
Inaugurating the six-day event, organized by CAN Federation, Minister for Information and Communications Mohan Bahadur Basnet stated that the country's development process is directly linked to the development of ICT sector and thus, both the government and private sector should work together to promote the use of ICT in every sector.
Our CAN Info-Tech 2018 Meet-up was based on Nepal’s one and only Information, Technology, Entertainment Show and conference, which was one of the most anticipated tech events of our country. CAN InfoTech also feature IT-based services and e-governance as well.
I would just like to give small introduction about CAN Federation.
Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) was established in December 1992 as an autonomous, non political, non partisan, non-profitable and service oriented organization. The CAN has been formed with the involvement of professionals, specialists, manufacturers, institutions and the related organization of Computer and Information Technology within the whole country.
Objectives of CAN
The six-day long “CAN InfoTech 2018” mega event of Nepal’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector concluded
According to a press note released by the organizer of the event, CAN Federation, CAN Info-Tech 2018 drew nearly 376, 000 visitors. The footfall this year has increased compared to the last year’s footfall record. The last day of the event, Tuesday drew the greatest number of footfalls for a day at over 94, 000 footfall. Hundreds of IT firms had displayed their products and services through 222 stalls in the event.
Within the Info-Tech ,everything about technology was provided under one roof, and that was exactly why the CAN Info-Tech also considered as a platform for product promotion and to share knowledge. Everyone visited the event and also the participants got benefit from this event.
I found ,the CAN is the right organization , which help us to meet our goal as a local guides. They have more than 5000 members across the country and all are computer literate personality, have internet access. almost all have Gmail account and familiar with Google product, as well .
That’s why I choose the CAN info-tech as our new meet-up place .Within the period of CAN Info-Tech many Celebrity, Actors and actress, Ministers ,VIPS , Military men , Judges, Honorable personality, Members of Parliament Visited the event. That was the grand gathering of all types of personality.
As, many of our attendees mentioned about the meet-up, that most of the CAN executive comity members met with our Local guides. They all were very happy with us and wished for our successes.
We gave information about our program to all CAN members as well as all the information about Google Map and Local Guides Connect. They were very pleased to know about us and about our program.I encouraged CAN members to join the Local Guides program and make an impact on Google Maps
I described and explain them that quality review writing ,adding photos and videos ,Answer the question, edit and add the places, checked the fact to "Google Maps" are very helpful as well as excellent information for" Google Maps" user.At the end, They understood that, Local guides are providing accurate information about local area and help millions of Google Maps users, travelers and tourists.
“Who donate blood to others!
They donate Life to others!”
We all know, everyday hundreds of people need blood to Live. Blood donation causes no harm to our health. That’s why, I am really very thankful, those friends who realize their responsible toward the society and actively participated for “BLOOD DONATION”
Thanks, They realized the importance of blood donation .

Nice compilation of within the meetup and outside the meetup activities @bhupalshrestha. Pleasure to join the meetup. Hope to join with you in upcoming meetups. As you were busy in CAN programs so I managed to show the glimpse of this meetup before and well appreciated by LGs over the globe. I am glad that you managed the time for us despite the tedious duty of CAN. Thanks a lot.
