The Real Perk is RECOGNITION

Dear Friends

I have been a local guide since last 5 years

I attained level 10 in first one year of contributions.

The local guide program is always providing perks in shape of travel coupons, pair of socks or even free space on google drives.

All these perks no doubt encourage the local guides to contribute with more enthusiasm and eagerness but all these perks can be purchased by all even if they are not a part of local guide program.

So as per my thinking. All the local guides are well to do and are financially good. The real perk that can encourage more contribution us "RECOGNITION".

This recognition can be 

done by many ways:

By publishing their lrofiles on official twitter handle by google.

Inviting them to local guide connect live programs in their own countries

Increasing the number on participants at connect live in USA.

Through social recognition, such as facebook, insta etc.

Thus work must be done in this direction

Google will definitely recongnise your efforts and they are doing. CHeck your profile, there are badges, this is recognisition and in future too you will be recognise for your work not only by google but by the public also.  

See, when anyone views the photograph cliked by yoou on Google maps, you name appears and the person utilising services recognise you.

as far as PAir of socks and other incentives are concerned, i must tell you that YOU HAVE TO APPLY WHENEVER YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL IN THIS REGARD.

Next time take care of that whenever you receive such email.

Also i request google to consider your request for the same.
