Replying to business Review response

I was hoping Google maps implemented the option of being able to reply back to a reply a business gave back to a positive or negative review left.

 

I know this question and feature has been asked in the past but hopefully many local guides feel this is necessary and will vote for this feature. Its frustrating when the business replies back a false or misleading comment which I have no option of correcting back.

Hi everyone,

 

Currently, when the business owner replies to a review you submitted, you cannot reply to him back or via private message. It would be great to have 'Reply' option directly under his response. When a user clicks on it he should be able to choose if he wants to send a private message or reply directly.

There is a similar idea, but it was closed without an implementation.

Great proposal.

 

Now and until it hopefully gets implemented I just add my reply by editing my review. I add a heading like Latest: and then my response.

@MortenCopenhagen Hi Morten,

Thank you for your feedback and a hint,  I think for now it's the best way of communicating with an owner. But I'm not sure if an owner receives notification when you update the review. Maybe if you deleten the original version and submit a new updated version it would be even more visible for an owner.

Please note that a similar one has been already suggested here - Replying to business Review response. For that reason I will merge yours to it together with its votes.

 

I just recommend you before you submit an idea to search the community. It’s possible that someone else has already submitted the same one, so you can show your support by voting for that idea.

Thank you for reviewing my idea!

But do you think it makes sense to merge Open ideas to Closed ones? Googlers don't check Closed ideas, people don't vote on them for the same reason... Should I create one more idea without mentioning that it is similar to another? I just want to make your product a bit better.

As you know we merge ideas to keep the votes and discussions in one place. We do this regardless of the status of the original idea. 

 

Any closed idea can be opened for voting if the team thinks it's worth having a second look at, and that's why you will see new ideas being merged to already closed ones. We close older ideas that have not yet been implemented to comply with the our policies, but we will always be able to look back at these ideas if there's is an interest in them.

Estive analisando um fato que ocorreu comigo após fazer uma avalição de uma mal atendimento por parte de um Gerente. E com isso fiz minha avaliação sobre o atendimento. Vi que o estabelecimento respondeu minha indignação com uma resposta distorcendo os fatos ocorridos. Lendo isso não foi possivel corrigir o que ele falou, somente redigir o que tinha postado.

Então, a minha sugestão é simples, ter uma contra resposta encerrando o assunto. E fazer com que o estabelecimento tente resolver essa má avaliação de alguma forma ou penaliza lá por algum tempo com uma marcação ruim no mapa.

  •  Hii everyone , I suggest to make some change in #Reply system.....When we give certain review on post and then the owner of the that place reply us ...And if we want to give again some reply to him but we have no any option  to reply him....So I wish we must make some change in it.
