Increase the point given for 360° Images

As we know, for 2 dimensional image upload, 5 points are rewarded. In this we only requires just point & shoot.

But in case of 360° image, many of contributers posses smartphone these days & from smartphone atleast 42 images are continuously captured. This requires lot of skills & time to get a single perfect 360 image. This consumes approximately 8 minutes to shoot & image file being a size around 4mbs, uploading time depends upon your network speed.

As I'm in Rural Area of India, here network speed are extremely low & max upload speed doesn't increase more than 50 KBps. This also consumes lot of time. Now after all this, we just get only 5 reward points as much as we get from single 2-dimensional image. This isn't fair.

Rewarding points must be increased for 360° image as lot of work & time involved in it.

From my point of view, atleast 15 rewards points must be awarded per 360° image.

I hope this suggestion will be taken under consideration as soon as possible.

Dear Friends,

As I think For Every approved 360 PICTURES UPLOADED BY GOOGLE STREET VIEW APP  , Points Should be grater than the normal pictures.

As u know for A360 shoot ,we have to take multiple shoot.

It's my suggestion to Google Maps Team.

@PansiaSahab unfortunate that your suggestion is closed. I am agreeing with your proposal that it is so much time and effort to take and upload 360. This should also encourage others to do more 360 because many places are still missing it.

Well, my idea is basically to increase the score for panoramic photos. Until this moment very photo posted in Google Maps gives 5 points but taking panoramic pictures at least to me involves an extra effort so I was thinking maybe give 7 instead of 5 points for every panoramic picture. 

What do you think?

@Petra_M Hi there, actually my idea is not the 360 photos, it´s panoramic photos, the option you have in your cellphone, it is not the same... but if you still think belongs to this topic so be it... it´s ok  🙂
