Dashboard for progress and view count tracking

With a majority of local guides actively making contributions on a frequent basis, it will be hugely beneficial to the users if there is a dashboard implemented for us to track our progresses.  An interface showing daily view counts for our reviews and photos uploaded will encourage Local Guides to produce better content for the platform.  

Currently our only method to measure progress is by manually tracking the view count on a daily basis.  This suggested feature will supplement a huge feature gap for Google Local Guides.

Hello Local guides, I think there should be an Analytics section like youtube from which we can have information like impressions,views per day,graphs showing views and points earned per day,activity rate,likes,source of photo e.g. from Google,from links, from advertisements etc.

Some kind of analytics information is send by Google via email every week/month. All what you need to do is enable this settings - https://www.google.com/localguides/settings.

I did research the topic and found this one closed. So I thought I would refresh the idea.
I believe some of us would like to review our status. I use my hand entered data to help me select my next trip as a Local Guide.

Thank you for merging the topics, @MashaPS.

As others have pointed out earlier, I believe that this will lead to a more engaging and rewarding experience for the contributors.  Photos and information that local guides contribute are very important aspects for Google Maps.  This feature will really benefit the platform as a whole.

There have been several Local Guides that have chimed in on this idea.
Although this topic is closed you can still vote. But I don't know if that gets anyone's attention.

But not the Idea.
I think we can DIY it.

1st Things First: a Dashboard. 
We would certainly like to see and maybe share some of our basic stats. 
Seeing current level and your tick toward the next level seems to be an important header. Next all those numbers recording number of review, ratings, photos and answers is a good reference of how we (as LG's) are doing. I think we should be able to get that with a RSS feed. It's interesting that this topic actually has it's own RSS feed (https://www.localguidesconnect.com/cmxpv89733/rss/message?board.id=idea&message.id=8855) so why not a LG feed?

I have been manually tracking my LG Stats on a Google Spreadsheet for almost a year. I have found some work-arounds for doing what this topic and users originally suggested. I post to Google Maps nearly every day. I also log those locations and pictures and reviews into my spreadsheet. The spreadsheet helps me predict and forecast the new places to go visit.
Basically I enter data into my spreadsheet about my total views, views of my top 25-or-so photos, and then logging any new photos or reviews or edits.

Google TakeOut maybe the key. When I lost my photo backup harddrive I used TakeOut to recover some lost photos. But I discovered you can get your Google Maps data for TakeOut. It's all in XML but for me that not a problem to translate.

Shall we restart this conversation? Or was the original reason for closing this thread was because no one is so OCD   about statically data as I am?

A dashboard to track our progresses is a great idea and you have my vote on this @nickkpoon and I like some of the ideas made in the comments.  In the meantime, regarding view count, while not a personal dashboard, over the last 12 months I have been compiling right here on Connect, what I have called the Leaderboards of the Top 100  Photo Views.  It has evolved into two separate streams namely, the Leaderboards of Top 100 Most Viewed Photos and the Top 100 Photo Views Leaderboards.  As well as being fun, they are educational and offer different ways to look at you view counts and as well as monitoring you own progress from month to month, they allow you to see how your view counts compare to that of your peers (Local Guides at your level) as well as to the open field of all participating Local Guides.  From all this, you can learn how to improve your view counts!!!  You and the other commenters including @AnnalisaCasini, @somimehra, @Eng_Motiur, @Rohlik, @CavemanSavant, @Salman-JHR, and @Himanshu_01 might be interested to check the Top 100 Leaderboards out.
