Problems with maps app.

I've been contributing to Maps for a while now.  However, starting about a week ago, when I try to review places, I get an error message telling me to enter my name. I go to my profile & my name shows the same as it always has. I am wondering if my contributions will be lost if I delete and download maps again or what other suggestions anyone might have. Thanks!

Hi @MSitzman, I don't know exactly  what is an error about but by the deletion of map app your points will not be deleted since they are linked to your account, not with app.

its technical fault, so not to worry and ur wish to delete app. all restored already in your account @MSitzman

the problem has been resolved this way:

1 go to settings

2 Click on App

3 Select the Google Play services

4 click on permission

5 disables all permission (archive, calendar, contacts, camera, etc.)

6 Once everything is turned off, turn on permissions one by one.
